This is a Fresno Bee article from 1983 about Jerry's last Super Modified Main Event Win at Madera Speedway.  Notice that our good friend Paul Durant is mentioned.  Paul started off on Jerry's pit crew in the 70's, went on to race against Jerry in the 1980's and then drove in several Indy 500's.
